The Great British Spring Clean is back!
Eckington Parish Council will be organising regular Community Litter Picks.
If you can please join in and help to keep your local streets, parks and green spaces clean.
The date and location of the Community Litter Picks will be posted.
This doesn't mean you have to wait you can make litter picking part of your daily exercise.

WHEN: from 8th December 2020 to 7th June 2021.
WHERE: Closure of Footpath 52 in Eckington Parish from its eastern end to the Butchers Arms. No. 30
REASON: To allow for development of the site.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the north and south use Public Footpath
Please note that the construction is not taking place on the line of the footpath and it will be made available upon completion of the works.

Advice Centre Says Thousands Are Losing Out
Advisers at the long established Derbyshire Unemployed Workers' Centres (DUWC) claim that thousands are losing out because they are not seeking advice both before and after making their claim for Universal Credit.

Items can be dropped off at Eckington Civic Centre Mondays between 10am and 12 noon or at Eckington Business Centre opposite the library between 9am and 3pm, Monday - Friday
