The Great British Spring Clean is back!

Eckington Parish Council will be organising regular Community Litter Picks.

If you can please join in and help to keep your local streets, parks and green spaces clean.

The date and location of the Community Litter Picks will be posted.

This doesn't mean you have to wait you can make litter picking part of your daily exercise.

Temporary Closure of Footpath No.52

WHEN: from 8th December 2020 to 7th June 2021.

WHERE: Closure of Footpath 52 in Eckington Parish from its eastern end to the Butchers Arms. No. 30

REASON: To allow for development of the site.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the north and south use Public Footpath

Please note that the construction is not taking place on the line of the footpath and it will be made available upon completion of the works.

Christmas Gifts and food donations appeal

Give back this Christmas for local families in need.

Any donations of toys, gift cards, wrapping paper, food and treats will be really appreciated.

Items can be dropped off at Eckington Civic Centre Mondays between 10am and 12 noon or at Eckington Business Centre opposite the library between 9am and 3pm, Monday - Friday

Start date: 2 December 2020

End date: 22 December 2020

Restriction: Close Public Footpath No.121 from its junction with Public Footpath No.135 to its junction with Public Footpath No.129.
