Look out for free food vouchers
Households that qualify will automatically receive a one-off food voucher worth around £40 for each eligible child or young person in January 2023.
The vouchers are available for:
- children who receive benefit related free school meals
- children in an early years setting (nurseries and pre-schools) who receive free childcare for 2 year-olds or the early years pupil premium for 3 and 4-year-olds

Support for the cost of living in Derbyshire
To approve the award of £0.100m from the Contain Outbreak Management Fund to support VCS organisations looking to provide warm spaces through the Council's corporate grants framework, ringfenced awards for small grants for up to £1,000 each.
