Catherine has been a Parish Councillor since 2013. She fundraises locally for WASPI, DAST, and Freedom Project (Food Bank) and is a member of UCU Union and Unite Community. She served as Elected member for North East Derbyshire District Council until 2019. She is currently raising funds to support a local hygiene programme
