The Parish Council hope to attract Lottery Funding to help restore the Grade 2 Listed Victorian Chapels of Ease.

To facilitate this more public involvement in the Cemetery is necessary so the Parish Council decided to provide a nature trail through the Cemetery and to digitise the Cemetery Records providing 2 laptop computers for the public to research family records and copy and print relevant information.

It is hoped that disks will be available for purchase in the near future.

A Friends of Eckington Cemetery Group is being set up and anyone interested in being involved should contact the Clerk to the Council.
