St Peters & St Paul
The Parish Church of St Peter & St Paul celebrated its 900th anniversary in the year 2000.  It is exceptional architecturally being one of the best preserved examples in Derbyshire.
A weekly market is held every Friday in the Precinct off Market Street.  Each year in December a Christmas Fayre is held on Market Street and the Precinct and inside the Civic Centre with a variety of stalls both indoor and out with a Fun Fair.  There is also Carol Singing by the local schools & Street Entertainers
